Freemasonry is the oldest, largest and most widely recognized fraternal organization in the World. Founded in London, England in 1717, its current worldwide membership totals 3.6 million members, 1.6 million of which are in North America. With 90,000 Masons and 530 local Lodges, Ohio has one of the largest Masonic memberships of any state in the country.
The Ninth Masonic District of The Grand Lodge of Ohio represents 14 Masonic Lodges in Clark, Champaign and Madison counties, centered directly west of Columbus. The District serves as a regional layer of support for our member lodges.
The 9th Masonic District Communications are conducted by the 9th Masonic District Officers Association for the purpose of uniting the Blue Lodges of the 9th Masonic District. Meetings of the 9th Masonic District Officers Association are held on the 3rd Monday's in May and September and during the Past Masters Convocation in December.
